It could prove to be difficult for a lot of people to manage to keep a stable object of awareness as they meditate. Their awareness hops around and the mind won’t stop bloating the headspace with multiple thoughts thus the person withdraws the idea of meditation and might not return to it.

Bare Awareness Meditation is a very simple and primary form of meditation, befitting beginners. In this meditation there is no fixed object of awareness unlike in other meditations, the object of awareness might either be breath or body sensations or maybe the sound of the environment but in Bare Awareness Meditation the object of awareness might shift from one to another respectively. The crux is to let the awareness simply flow and observe the flow of awareness and minutely observe how the attention travels from one object to another to keep a track of it.

This allows your brain to wander and come back to any object of awareness. But this might not be as simple as it sounds as the possibilities of your brain stuck in the traffic of your thoughts and forgetting to be aware is high. You need some outside source to guide you all along!
